Operation Game Thief

Report A Wildlife Crime To New Hampshire Fish And Game

Operation Game Thief LogoPlease do not use this form to report an emergency. This is a non-emergency service being provided to the public to report active and actual poaching violations. You should always call 9-1-1 for any life threatening emergency. For nuisance wildlife, law questions or OHRV/snowmobile complaints please call 603-271-3361 and the dispatcher will connect you with the appropriate person.

Operation Game Thief (OGT) is an anonymous, anti-poaching program that encourages the public to provide NH Fish and Game with factual information or knowledge about a poaching violation.

POACHING is the illegal take of game animals or fish. It can involve hunting or fishing out of season, the taking of more fish or game animals than the law allows. Poachers devastate the state’s natural resources by breaking laws designed to assure proper wildlife management and species survival.

Protect New Hampshire's natural resources - report wildlife law violators! NH Conservation Officers do all they can to combat poaching. But there are only about 42 officers spread throughout the state. To successfully fight poaching they need help from the public.
