COVID-19 Response
Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and emergency orders, the License and OHRV Registration Agents may be closed, have limited hours, or other restrictions in place. Please call before you visit. Thank you for your continued support during this difficult time.
The NH Fish and Game Department is committed to responding to the COVID-19 pandemic by continuing to provide services to the public while keeping people safe. Please continue to check this page for further information as the situation unfolds.
Announcements
- All hunters in New Hampshire age 16 or older must be licensed which requires the completion of a hunter education course. New hunters finishing their online courses will be required to complete a field day before they can purchase their license. New Field Days will be available beginning in Spring 2021.
- Saltwater fishing is still open in the Granite State if you have your 2021 fishing license and make sure the coast/beach you are accessing is open. Check the Parks website for info on state beaches.
- Let's Go Fishing classes have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 public health emergency. We will let you know when we are able to offer classes once more.
- The White Mountain National Forest has issued a temporary closure notice for many trailheads and recreation facilities. Check before you go.
- Toilet facilities are closed at NH Fish and Game boat ramps until further notice due to the COVID1-19 outbreak. Anglers are urged to continue practicing social distancing recommendations from state and federal health agencies.
- The Owl Brook Hunter Education Center, Great Bay Discovery Center, and our hatcheries are closed to the public without an appointment until further notice.
- Reminder: Throughout the COVID-19 emergency in New Hampshire, all hunting, fishing, and OHRV rules and regulations remain in effect and will be enforced.
