Chronic Wasting Disease Not Detected in New Hampshire's Deer
March 19, 2010 -- New Hampshire’s white-tailed deer population once again showed no evidence of chronic wasting disease (CWD), based on monitoring data gathered during the 2009 hunting season.

State of New Hampshire’s Birds Report Released
March 11, 2010 - The “State of New Hampshire’s Birds” report, released today by New Hampshire Audubon and the NH Fish and Game Department, is the first to summarize population trends for all of New Hampshire’s breeding birds -- a total of 186 species.

Body of Missing Canoeist Recovered in Raymond
March 1, 2010 – On March 1 at about 4:00 PM, the body of Cassandra Ray, age 21, of Salem was recovered by search teams in the Exeter River approximately 80 yards downstream from where her canoe capsized on Friday, February 26, 2010.

Derry Man Killed after ATV Goes through Ice on Beaver Lake
DERRY, NH -- On Saturday, February 20, 2010, at 11:08 p.m., Edward Jackson, age 53, of Derry died in an OHRV accident on Beaver Lake. Jackson was operating a four wheeled all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on the ice when he broke through near the open channel at the inlet.
Free Ice Fishing Class Offered in Peterborough March 6, 2010

East Hampstead Man Seriously Injured in Snowmobile Accident
February 5, 2010 -- On February 4 at 10:30 p.m., Bernard Czeremin, age 52, of East Hampstead, N.H., suffered life-threatening injuries from a snowmobile accident on Big Island Pond in Hampstead.

January 23, 2010 – Aime J. Huard of Londonderry (age 52) was killed on January 22, 2010, when he lost control of his snowmobile,, causing it to roll and crash while crossing Highland Lake in the Town of Stoddard, N.H.

Maine Hiker Spends Unexpected Night on Mt. Moosilauke
January 16, 2010 -- Richard Barrie (64 years old) of Kittery Point, Maine, spent Friday night (January 15, 2010) stuck out on Mt. Moosilauke in Benton, NH, in frigid temperatures and high winds. He reached safety the following day.
Weekend Snowmobile Fatality in Charlestown
January 17, 2010 -- Charlestown Emergency Services and New Hampshire Fish and Game were called to a snowmobile accident in the vicinity of North Hemlock and Old Claremont Roads. The victim was 43-year-old Leland Judd Jr. of Claremont.

Massachusetts Man Killed in Pittsburg, NH, Snowmobile Crash
January 5, 2010 -- Wayne W. Armstrong, 60, of Tyngsborough, Mass., was killed last night when the snowmobile he was operating crashed into several trees off Indian Stream Road in the town of Pittsburg, N.H.
